The state enjoyed record high temperatures on Saturday. Casper and Worland led the way with temperatures in the mid to upper 70's.

Casper recorded 75 degrees at the airport breaking the old record of 72 set back in 1990. Worland had the warmest temperature according the National Weather Service in Riverton at 77 degrees breaking the old record of 75 in 1991. Accoring to the Weather Service, two other cities broke record high temperatures with Riverton at 72 breaking the old record of 65 in 2005 and in Rock Springs with a record high of 69 breaking the old mark of 65 in 1990. That very nice spring weather didn't last long as winter returned Saturday night and Sunday with the Casper/Natrona County International Airport reporting 1.6 inches of snow. More rain and snow is expected especially at the end of the week and into the weekend. For now, it will be the wind as there are watches and warnings posted throughout the state for today through tomorrow.
