The man accused of raping a woman in his home on Casper Mountain has entered a "not guilty" plea.

On Wednesday morning, twenty-nine-year-old Jensen Frandsen-Winkler pleaded "not guilty" by reason of mental illness to the six charges he faces.

On the night of February seventeenth, Frandsen-Winkler allegedly raped a hand-cuffed a woman at gunpoint in his cabin on Crimson Dawn Road.

Frandsen-Winkler was deemed mentally competent to proceed with the legal process, however, the defense requested that an evaluation be conducted of his mental condition of the night of the alleged attack.

If convicted, Frandsen-Winkler could spend life in prison for the two sexual assault charges, kidnapping, aggravated assault and two drug charges.
