Tomorrow evening, Wednesday August 8th, a public forum with candidates for Casper City Council takes place at the Natrona County Public Library, 6-8 p.m.

"Its a chance for citizens to come and meet their city council candidates, get to know them, ask their own questions and express their own concerns."

Library Spokesperson, Brenda Thompson, says the session will be moderated and those attending can submit question in person or you can submit in advance by email.

There are two  four-year terms up in Ward I, with five candidates vying for the four positions on the ballot. Elimination will happen at the August 21st primaries.

Ward II also has two four year terms with six candidates interested.

And in Ward III, there will be one seat open, three candidates interested, with two moving forward to the November ballot.

The forum Wednesday evening in the Crawford room at library starts at 6pm and is free and open to all.
