Coming up this Sunday on Report to Wyoming, excerpts from the first Casper City Council public hearing of a proposed amendment to city law.

"This matter was brought to you by our Police Chief, Chris Walsh, with concern regarding the apparent inconsistency in state statute that does not allow concealed weapons in a public meeting, but does allow open carry of weapons. Amendments have been made in consultation with the Police Chief's input that we'd like you all to consider in order to make this a safe environment and one less intimidating."

City Manager, John Patterson opened with his report to the council at the start of the first public hearing of a proposed change to city law that would make the open carry of weapons in city meetings illegal.

That's on Report To Wyoming, this Sunday, at 7am on all of our Townsquaremedia stations and again at 9 pm on K2 Radio,  AM 1030.
