A driver for Sinclair may be lucky to be alive after he rolled his propane-filled semi on Highway 220 Friday morning.

Listen here,

Wyoming Highway Patrol Trooper, Adam Bruning, says the double-tanker crash happened shortly after 5am about 10 miles east of Independence Rock.

"The driver fell asleep and rolled his truck.   County Fire got there and extricated him. He was life flighted to Casper. He was responsive on scene. Marks where the truck left the pavement went for 252 feet."

66-yr-old, Darrell Wilhelm, was heading west when the incident happened. Bruning says the tanker was 80 percent full of propane and the pup trailer behind 60 percent full. Fortunately, he says, there was no spill or fire.

"Thankfully the tanks did not breach so there was no real fire or hazmat spill anywhere."
