The Natrona County Coroner has identified the man who was found dead in an alley near downtown Casper on Monday, according to a press release.

"The young man found in the alley behind the Elks’ Club in Casper on Sept 7, 2015 has been identified as 24 year old Christopher Lyn Bridge who is a resident of Casper," Coroner Connie Jacobson wrote.

"His family has been located and notified of the death. An autopsy is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 with final reports expected to be available in six to eight weeks," Jacobson wrote.

Meanwhile Tuesday evening, Casper police officers cordoned off the 600 block of South Wolcott Street as they continued to investigate Bridge's death.

While not working on this case specifically, Sgt. Mike Ogden said areas are often cordoned off so investigators can take photos of possible crime scenes.

In this case, police are waiting for nightfall so they can take pictures that may involve testing for blood on the ground, Ogden said.

The scene is a half-block east of where Bridge was found in the alley immediately east of the Elks Building in the 600 block of South Center Street. Capt. Steve Freel said Monday that police suspected foul play may have been involved.

Tuesday evening, Ogden said police have not identified any suspects.
