GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — Gillette police have cited a Campbell County commissioner after one of his employees reported he touched her inappropriately.

Police ticketed Commissioner Stephen F. Hughes on Monday. He's set to answer a misdemeanor charge of unlawful contact in Circuit Court in November.

The Associated Press  reports  that the 65-year-old Hughes and his lawyer Nick Carter declined comment.

A police report states the woman said Hughes grabbed her by the hips and kissed her neck while she was at his business office earlier this month. The woman said Hughes told her he could back her into a corner.

Hughes later denied to police that he had kissed her or said the remark about backing her into a corner.
