The Platte River in Casper has seen a lot of change since a master plan for its cleanup began 30 years ago.

The Platte River Parkway Trust this week met and talked accomplishments and further goals.

Executive Director Angela Emery says coming up in 2012 plans include greening up the space around the Tate Pumphouse Trail Center. The vision of an underpass near the Fort Casper Museum, she says, is in the engineering-design stage.

"Its a fairly complex project and it's expensive, so we're trying to get all of our ducks in a row and really do good engineering and good planning and then get started."

She says it'll be similar to the Beverly Street underpass unveiled in 2011.

And tomorrow we'll hear about plans for a second pathway through Morad Park. That's right here on K2 radio AM 1030.
