Platte River Parkway Cleanup This Saturday Morning

Help tidy up the Platte River Parkway system this Saturday.

The annual volunteer cleanup is 9 a.m. to noon with everybody meeting in the west parking lot of the Tate Pump House by 8:50.

Platte River Parkway Trust Executive Director, Angela Emery says there's a small chance of rain so come appropriately dressed.

"We don't have a rain date so as long as it's not pouring down rain we feel like we can do some work. We just appreciate anybody who wants to show up and give a couple hours of their time."

Clean-up supplies will be distributed and volunteers assigned to a section of trail.

Along with the clean up, it's a nice way to mix with others who appreciate all that the trail system provides like a venue for the 10th annual Casper Marathon scheduled for Sunday, June 3rd.
