JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — A group that helped oversee development of natural gas fields in the Pinedale area of western Wyoming has disbanded.

For the last decade the Pinedale Anticline Working Group gave citizens and others a voice in monitoring and making recommendations to the Bureau of Land Management about development of the Pinedale Anticline gas field.

The 10-member group voted to dissolve during an October meeting after it failed to attract enough nominations to fill coming vacancies.

BLM spokeswoman Shelley Gregory told the Associated Press that the agency's Resource Advisory Committee will be the body that will give citizens a say in Pinedale Anticline matters from now on.
