Southwesterly winds will keep skies mostly sunny and conditions warm and mainly dry today.  Winds, however, will be strong and gusty throughout the state as a cold front approaches the region.  Most locations will see gusts as high as 40 mph, but some of the wind prone areas of I-25 (Chugwater to Wheatland and Glendo to Casper) and I-80 (Laramie to Rawlins) will see gusts between 40 to 50 mph

Man Struck and Killed Near Riverton

A pedestrian/vehicle crash resulted in the death of 34 year old Ivan R. Pine of Riverton, Wyoming on Monday. It happened at 12:15 a.m. on WY 789 approximately five miles north of Riverton.

Mr. Pine was walking south in the southbound lane of travel of WY 789 wearing dark colored clothing when he was struck from behind by a car that was traveling south and was being driven by a teenage juvenile
