It's that time of the year again boys and girls. Halloween is a time when the dead can return to the living, and we all wear costumes to blend in with each other. It's a time when magic and enchantment can happen, as we remember exactly how mystified we were by Halloween when we were children.

But it's also a time to be and act like a grownup, so with that said, we present:

OUR GUIDE TO YOUR HALLOWEEN WEEKEND.

Obviously, your first stop should be "Screams and Dreams" at The Venue. This event, presented by Wizard Pipe Productions, is the hippest, slickest, most happening costume/dance party in town. From 7:00-11:30 pm, on Friday, Oct. 28 there will be costumes, comedy, contests, prizes and of course, alcohol. There's a 10% discount at the door if you bought your costume at Pizzazz Lingerie, but you've gotta have your proof of purchase.  Come out, win a costume contest, drink. No biggie.

Next up we've got  The Sandbar, one of Casper's oldest, yet coolest bars. On Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9:00 pm-12:00 am there's gonna be live music (courtesy of Still Smokin'), free drink and shot specials, great food, and yes, a costume contest. This one even has cash prizes! $20 will go to 1st place, $100 to 2nd place, and $50 to 3rd! So put on your best costume, and win some free cash!

The Attic has always been known to put on a great party, and this Halloween will be no different. OnSaturday, Oct. 29 The Attic will host it's Annual Halloween Party. NOW, ON TO ONE OF THE BEST PARTS OF HALLOWEEN- HAUNTED HOUSES!

The Casper Children's Theatre are hosting their Annual Haunted House on Oct. 28, 29, 30 and 31. From 6:00 pm-9:00 pm (and 12:00  pm-4:00 pm on the 30),  this haunted house is sure to deliver chills and thrills. The best part is that all of the proceeds go towards supporting the CCT going to Atlanta, GA for a competition.

The Rocky Mountain School of Dance are putting on a haunted house in memory of Ralph Zettlemoyer, a man who created a haunted house every year at Poplar Living Center. This haunted house will take place on Oct. 28 and 29 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  Tickets are $5 at the door and refreshments are available for purchase as well.

Obviously, it wouldn't be Halloween without Trick or Treating. Many merchants in Downtown Casper are participating in handing out treats all day/evening on Oct. 29.

And finally, The Science Zone is proudly presenting it's Trick or Treat Trail. From 4:00 pm-8:00 pm on Halloween (Oct 31 for those who don't know) kids and adults will be making their way around the Science Zone collecting candy and other assorted items,  all the while showing off their costumes AND there's even a haunted house on-site. This is definitely THE place for trick or treating on Halloween.
