The mystery man that led Casper Police on a chase on Monday, has been identified, and he's admitted to what he did.

Twenty-six year old Oscar Enriquez Rios was sentenced to 60 days in jail, after he pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor charges, including eluding and no driver's license.

Police say shortly after one o’clock Monday morning, officers were in the area of 7th Street and Missouri Avenue, when they noticed a suspicious man in a vehicle.

When they approached, investigators say Rios started the engine and fled the area.

A chase ensued, which eventually made its way onto I-25, and then the 20-26 bypass.

Rios eventually surrendered, and was taken into custody.

He is also facing extradition to Colorado, where they have a warrant for his arrest, for failure to appear on one charge of vehicle theft.
