No more prison for a Casper man convicted of a sex crime.

Omega Jelsma was originally sentenced to serve ten-to-sixteen years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of second degree sexual assault.

However he was also ordered to attend boot camp, which he has now completed.

At a sentence reduction hearing, Jelsma has had the remainder of his prison sentenced suspended, and has been placed on four years of probation.

The charge stemmed from an October 2010 incident, in which prosecutors say he sexually assaulted a then-17-year-old girl who had passed out.
