North Dak., Wyo. Women Killed In Car Crash In Northwest South Dak.

LUDLOW, S.D. (AP) — A woman from North Dakota and a woman from Wyoming died in a weekend car crash in South Dakota.

The Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Samantha Vogel of Lincoln, N.D., was driving a car that collided with a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 85 near the northwest South Dakota town of Ludlow. She was killed, along with a passenger in her vehicle, 61-year-old Judith Hampton of Newcastle, Wyo.

The Texas driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries in the crash late Sunday afternoon.
