A Casper family escaped injury when a fire broke out in their home Monday afternoon.  Upon arrival, Casper fire crews found smoke coming from the home at 1630 Westridge Place, and had the fire under control within 10 minutes.

Fire officials say everyone made it out of the house safely, and no injuries were reported.  The fire appears to have started in a structure attached to the home.   The house sustained minor smoke damage.  The cause remains under investigation.
