No Injuries In Helicopter Crash Near Rock Springs

Authorities are investigating a medical helicopter crash near Rock Springs.

No one was injured when the Guardian Flight went down Tuesday evening 3 miles north of the city.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner  reported that five people were on board but none were patients.

Sheriff, Rich Haskell, said Undersheriff, Craig Jackson saw the chopper circling near a road and then saw it drop straight to the ground from a low altitude. Haskell said federal authorities will lead the investigation.
