The driver of an SUV involved in a deadly crash in Casper earlier this year won’t face charges. On April 11th, 59-year-old Dennis Priest crossed 2nd Street near Pennsylvania, and was hit by a Cadillac Escalade driven by 55-year-old Mantha Phillips.

After a lengthy investigation, the Natrona County District Attorney’s decided not to pursue charges, citing the evidence did not warrant prosecution. Investigators say the driver was not impaired, not on a cell-phone, and Priest did not cross the street at a designated crosswalk.
