The weather pattern will not change too much over the next couple of days.  Mild temperatures, partly cloudy skies and daily chances for showers and a few thunderstorms will take us through Thursday.

Mostly sunny skies in the afternoon and early afternoon hours will allow for nice temperatures.  Daytime highs will be in the 50s for the higher elevations to the 60s and lowers 70s on the central and eastern plains.

Clouds will thicken in the afternoon as moisture continues to come in from the west and southwest.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop in the afternoon and evening hours.  Today much of the shower and thunderstorm activity will be found in the mountains and in the south, on Wednesday the southern half of the state will be in the best position for precipitation and on Thursday a few light showers will be found in the north.
