New Teton Air Tour

JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — The owner of a new business that is re-establishing commercial scenic air tours based out of the Jackson airport says his operation will not disturb Grand Teton National Park visitors.

Fly Jackson Hole owner Peter Lindell says he doesn't need to fly tour routes in the park to give people an amazing aerial tour.

Fly Jackson Hole entered into a three-year contract with Jackson Hole Airport in May. The airport is the only U.S. commercial airstrip located inside a national park.

Lindell tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide (http://bit.ly/1su2zHl) that the contract doesn't allow him to fly over noise sensitive areas except to take off and land.

He says potential scenic routes include the Gros Ventre Range, Teton Pass and the west slope of the Tetons.
