CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming Lottery CEO Jon Clontz says the new lottery is meeting sales expectations and preparing to add two more games within the next 10 months.

Wyoming entered the national lottery frenzy on Aug. 24.

Clontz says the lottery is on pace to generate between $13 million to $17 million in ticket sales during the first year.

The Wyoming Lottery consists only of two games now — Powerball and Mega Millions. Both are national draw games with jackpots reaching into the hundreds of millions of dollars.

But Clontz and his staff are working on offering two new in-state games.

A Wyoming only draw game is scheduled to be available sometime next spring. No decision has been made on the other game, which Clontz hopes to launch next July.
