Renters should have some more housing options next year in Casper.  The Wyoming Housing Network has announced it has been awarded $8.9 million from the Wyoming Community Development Authority to build 54 new energy-efficient affordable rental units.

The apartment complex, called Juniper Ridge, is slated for construction on the city's east side.  The 54 apartments will consist of one, two and three bedroom units with an on-site playground.  Construction is scheduled to begin in the fall, with the units ready for occupancy in late 2013.
