NCSD Trustees to Select New Board Member on Monday

Natrona County School District officials say they’re going to review candidates to fill a vacancy on the district’s board of trustees.

Current board members are scheduled to conduct four interviews prior to a scheduled meeting on Monday night. The interviews will begin at 5 p.m. and are open to the public.

Audrey Cotherman resigned from the board on Nov. 18. She was first elected in 2008 and was re-elected in 2010.

The individual selected will serve the remainder of Cotherman’s four-year term.

Public comment will not be taken during the interview process. Current board members are anticipated to select the new board member during the regular session meeting later that night.

According to Wyoming law, the district must fill Cotherman’s position within 30 days of her resignation.
