The Natrona County School District Board of Trustees will consider the acceptance of three grants during its meeting Monday night.

Two of the grants are Title I improvement grants from the Wyoming Department of Education. One $65,806 grant is slated for Grant Elementary School, and a $76,000 grant is slated for Pineview Elementary School – each school will use the funds toward enhanced reading education.

A third $11,000 grant from the non-profit Asia Society will be put toward the development and implementation of a Chinese language program at Natrona County High School, according to information provided in the packet for the meeting.

All three grants will be considered by the board during its Monday meeting at the newly-opened Southridge Elementary, 1600 W. 29th St. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

A formal dedication ceremony for the school is scheduled for 5 p.m.
