Natrona County Sheriff's deputies Friday arrested a man for growing marijuana at his residence east of Casper, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office.

They arrested Jeffery Hallock, 58, who is awaiting formal charges to be filed by the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.

At 8:30 a.m. Friday, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Quarz Circle off North Cole Creek Road near Evansville, and found people there who were growing and cultivating several marijuana plants, according to the news release.

They found and seized a large amount of suspected marijuana, grow lights, planter pots, chemicals and a firearm.

Deputies recovered 11.18 pounds of marijuana or marijuana-related substances with packaging materials.
