The political season is getting a spring-time kick off this year. The Natrona County Democratic Party is hosting its convention this coming Saturday, the Natrona County Republican Caucus will be held on the 18th of this month with the convention to come in the weeks following.

The Natrona County Democrat Convention will take place at the Casper College Gateway Building on March 8th. Vice Chairperson of the Wyoming Democratic Party, Brett Governanti, says that the convention will kick off at 8:00 am.

"We are energizing our base, and getting folks interested in running for office," says Governanti.  "As well as giving a report to our constituents about things like folks running for office, as well as how we're moving forward as a party in Natrona County."

Later this month, on March 18th; at 6:00 pm, the Natrona County Republicans will be hosting their caucus at the Ag Resource Building on Fairgrounds road.

"We are going to be going over the current platforms, resolutions and bylaws," says Bonnie Foster, chairperson for the Wyoming Republican Party.  "People attending will be able to give input on if there's a new platform they want or resolution or bylaw to consider at the county convention."

Bonnie Foster, Chairperson of the Natrona County Republican Party, says that the convention will then be held March 29th at the Ramkota Inn.
