A Casper man is facing multiple charges, accused of pointing a gun at his girlfriend.

Twenty-seven year old Nathanael Wood has been charged with aggravated assault, felonious restraint, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to Casper Police, Wood was riding in his girlfriend's car with her two children Friday night June 22nd, when he pulled out a semi automatic handgun.

Investigators say he then ordered her to drive him to the Robertson Road bridge.

The victim told police that at one point, Wood pointed the gun at her temple and told the children to look away.

Once at the bridge, Wood got out, while the others drove away.

When interviewed by officers, Wood admitted having a drug problem and anger issues.

He also said he had been suicidal for some time and was thinking about pointing the gun at police so that they would shoot him.

Wood is being held on thirty-thousand dollars bond, awaiting trial.
