What seemed like a unique opportunity for family bonding turns into a hilarious romp in Stage III Community Theatre's latest production, "Nana's Naughty Knickers." It's the funniest play I've ever seen, to be honest with you," says Director Clint Saunders.

Bridget comes to visit her Grandmother in downtown Manhattan for the summer but soon discovers her favorite Nana is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling hand-made naughty lingerie to senior citizens all over the five boroughs. The apartment was once owned by a moonshiner and is complete with hiding places and secret compartments, in which Nana stashes the knickers. The discoveries, a policeman as the love interest, twists, turns, and surprises make for a show chock full of laughs.

A number of favorite theatre veterans make up the cast, which Saunders says makes for great ensemble performance. "The cast is phenomenal," he says. "From auditions these guys clicked and there was just chemistry."

"Nana's Naughty Knickers" continues its run at through February 25th. For more information and to buy tickets, visit the Stage III Community Theatre website.

You and your friends can also experience The Escape Room, solving clues and puzzles around Moonshine Maury's apartment. According to the Stage III website, "An escape room is physical adventures game in which players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of “escape the room” video games."  For more information, click HERE.
