The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people that were part of a murder-suicide on Casper Mountain.

They have been identified as 48-year old David Benaderet and his mother, 76-year old Loretta Benaderet of Casper.

Authorities received a call at about 4:30pm Thursday, September 4th, regarding two bodies in a vehicle at the Tower Road campground.

Evidence at the scene points to David shooting his mother, and then himself.

UPDATE: Tuesday, September 9 10:30am...A Sheriff's office spokesperson says through interviews with those who knew the Benaderets, the Department believes there was some fighting or arguing going on between David and Loretta, and it pushed David over the edge, resulting in him doing what he is alleged to have done.

Investigators did find a suicide note, and they believe it was written by David, based on the the language of the note and how it was written, however, any other details regarding the note have not been made available.

When the Benaderets were found in their vehicle, David was sitting in the passenger seat and Loretta was the driver.
