Mountain View Regional Hospital celebrated their 3 year anniversary today, but not with a party. Instead they spent the day collecting donations from the great citizens of Casper to help the victims in Joplin, Missouri.

It was an awesome sight to watch car after car and truck after truck pull in to the parking lot and drop off donations. At the end of the day, the donations were still coming in, as we had filled over a dozen pallets that lined a hospital hallway. Thanks to your donations we collected several tons of non perishable foods as well as other toiletries and goods that are extremely needed by the victims of that devastating tornado just over a week ago.

K2 Radio and our sister stations were proud to be a part of the day, as we did a live broadcast from the hospital parking lot.

We would like to extend our many thanks to everyone who stopped by and made donations big and small, as well as to the dozens of businesses and 2 local food banks for their generous donations as well!

It was an amazing day and we all reminded of what a great and giving community we live in and are proud to call home.
