A fast-moving weather system will move through western portions of the state today, which could bring light snow showers to the western and southern mountains.  Meanwhile, higher pressure builds throughout central and eastern Wyoming.  Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and seasonal temperatures for much of the state.  Winds could be breezy at times, but no significant gusting is expected.  Daytime highs will remain in the 30's and 40's.  High pressure will continue to control the weather on Friday.  Minimal cloudiness and mainly dry weather conditions are expected statewide, with the exception of the western mountains.  Winds will increase and become strong by morning in wind prone areas.  We could see winds gusting between 35 and 50 mph across I-25 (Colorado state line to Wheatland), I-80 (Nebraska state line to Arlington), US-85 (Colorado state line to LaGrange) and WY-28 (near South Pass).  An active and more unsettled weather pattern can be expected across the state of Wyoming this weekend into the start of the work week.
