NEW YORK, NY – JANUARY 27: A street light is snow covered in Prospect Park on January 27, 2011 in the Brooklyn borough of New York, United States. New York City, still reeling after the Christmas blizzard, closed public schools and limited public transportation following another heavy snowstorm. As of 2am eastern time, Central Park had received a total for January of 32.3 inches which breaks an 86-year-old record for the month. For much of the northeast this has been one of the snowiest winters in over a decade. (Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images)
