Snow will continue in the north and in the state’s mountains for the next day or so.  Winter Weather Advisories are in effect through 12 noon on Thursday for northern and western counties.  Winter Storm Warnings are in effect through 12 noon on Thursday for the western Bighorn,  Sierra Madre and Snowy Mountains. The central and eastern plains may pick up a few light snow showers at times as well, but the most significant snowfall will be in the west and north.

The wind will be a factor around Dubois and in wind prone areas of the southeast where High Wind Warnings are in effect.  Wind in the warning area will gust to 65 mph at times.

Thursday and Friday will feature additional snow showers mainly in the north and in the mountains.  Temperatures will start to rebound on Friday.
