The cool, moist air mass that has been around for the past few days will be staying in place into the near future.  Cloud cover, especially in southern Wyoming, has held temperatures back and will continue to do so.  Daytime highs will be mainly in the upper 50s and 60s throughout much of the state.  The exception will be the northeast.  As there will be more sun there, temperatures will reach into the mid 70s to the lower 80s.

Rain showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will continue to redevelop and work their way through the state for the next several days.  Southern counties look to be in the best position for more rain and gray, cloudy skies today.  By Thursday more of western Wyoming will cash in on the precipitation.  On Friday, northwest, east central and southeastern areas will have the best chance for additional showers.
