Monday Fatality Near Casper Identified
A single vehicle rollover crash on Monday has left one man dead. 67 year old Lyle T. Bryan of Casper was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The accident happened at 2:00 p.m. on Wyoming Highway 220 approximately eight miles southwest of Casper.
Mr. Bryan was driving an SUV traveling eastbound when he didn’t make a curve in the highway. After being overcorrected, the truck left the road and entered the median and rolled multiple times across the westbound lane of WY 220. Bryan was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected during the accident.
The crash did cause a temporary closure of the highway. Driver fatigue is being listed as the contributing factor in this crash. Mr. Bryan marked the 30th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015. 30 fatalities were also reported during this same time period in 2014.
