The Gillette Police Department and Campbell County Sheriff’s Office say they have found the truck belonging to Ruth Martinson, who disappeared Monday afternoon.

The 2008 Toyota Tundra, was found mid-morning Thursday east of Gillette.  The 49-year-old Martinson is still missing, and authorities continue their search for the woman.

Sheriff’s deputies and Search & Rescue personnel are searching the area around the vehicle and continue to look for Ruth Martinson.

Gillette Police Chief Jim Hloucal said “people involved in the search, no longer need to be looking for the truck, but if you do see Ruth Martinson, please contact the Gillette Police Department at (307) 682-5155.”

Martinson was last seen leaving a class at Gillette College Monday afternoon.  She was wearing a pink, purple and black Harley Davidson sweatshirt.
