There will still be some pockets of strong wind throughout the state today, especially in central Wyoming and along wind prone areas of I-80, mainly around Elk Mountain and Arlington.  Other than the wind, conditions will be rather quiet and temperatures will warm up nicely and top off in the 60s and 70s.  The wind, however, is of a concern in portions of central Wyoming where conditions are dry.  A Red Flag Warning is in effect for portions of central Wyoming, including Casper this afternoon through 7 PM.

A cold front slowly moves into western Wyoming on Wednesday.  It will turn cooler along and behind the front, clouds will fill in and showers will develop.  Rain showers will be found in the lower elevations, but some wet snow could mix in with the rain overnight Wednesday into Thursday morning, especially in the north and west.  The mountains and higher elevations will see snow develop during this time.  Northwest Wyoming is under a Winter Storm Watch
