Quiet, mainly dry weather conditions will be found across the state today.  Temperatures will be in the 40s to near 50 in the east, with 30s in the northwest and in the mountains.

Moisture starts to move back into the state on Friday, with snow showers expected to develop in the west.  Late Friday into Saturday a cold front moves in from the north and will combine with an area of low pressure to our south.  This winter storm will bring good chances for snow throughout much of the state.  Portions of central Wyoming and the mountains in southeast Wyoming are under a Winter Storm Watch Friday evening through late Saturday night.

Travelers, be ready for winter driving conditions and sharply colder temperatures this weekend.  Sunday will feature additional snow showers, cold conditions and strong winds, especially in the east, which will cause blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility.  Conditions will be challenging for young and vulnerable livestock.
