The Wyoming Department of Transportation will hold a second meeting Tuesday night regarding a possible new Interstate 25 interchange in Bar Nunn.

Officials say the proposal is in response to significant population growth in Bar Nunn, Casper and Natrona County. WYDOT public information officer Jeff Goetz says the agency is looking for additional public comment.

“We’re just kind of looking at possible down-the-road options for an interchange in Bar Nunn on I-25,” Goetz said. “At the first meeting, we got some public feedback about what the people of Bar Nunn really thought.”

Goetz says WYDOT is looking at three possible locations for the new interchange, including a location near the current interchange, a location near Titan Machinery, and a location near a bridge north of town.

The agency held its first public meeting in August. The second meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bar Nunn Elementary.
