If your on Medicaid, a Medicaid provider or social service agency the Wyoming Department of Health would like to hear from you.

They're hosting a series of public forums around the state, including one this Thursday in Casper. They're asking for input on how to make Wyoming's Medicaid program work best for the state.

"If people have options for increasing the efficiency, for increasing the effectiveness of the program, that's really what we're after. We are focusing on costs a lot, because of the economic times that were in."

Health Department Spokesperson, Merideth Asay, says they'll also consider ways to improve quality and access.

She says the state legislature is requiring the department to carry out an analysis of program costs, identify areas that may benefit from redesign and evaluate design options.

Thursday's forum takes place in the Casper City Hall Chambers, 200 North David Street, 5-7 p.m.
