Master Gardener Training through the Natrona County Agriculture Resource and Learning Center will be offered in an extended form over the next 8 months. Horticulturist, Donna Cuin, says the idea is to make it easier for busy people to squeeze the training into their schedules.

Next week, on Wednesday, October 3rd, they offer an informational meeting with the next class starting the following week.

"We'll give you an orientation session about what the Master Gardener program entails and for people who are still interested after the orientation, we'll do a group interview and select class members from the group."

The Master Gardener program offers 63 hours of training. Trainees are required to volunteer a minimum of 40 hours in their community before receiving the title of Extension Master Gardener.

Cost of the course is $125.00
