A Natrona County man led law enforcement officials on a chase this past weekend, and then took part in his own demolition derby.

46-year old Marvin Daniels has pleaded not guilty to seven misdemeanor charges, including DUI, eluding, reckless driving, no insurance and not stopping at a stop light and/or stop sign.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, just after midnight on Sunday, February 3rd, a trooper observed Daniels' vehicle run a red light at 1st and Ash Streets in Casper.

A chase ensued through the downtown area, with speeds ranging between 40 and 60 miles per hour, and at one point, Daniels turned off the head-lights to his vehicle and ran about 14 additional stop signs.

Eventually, Daniels crashed into a parked pickup and sedan near Willow Street and West Collins Drive, and then crashed again into a nearby dumpster.

The trooper was able to detect alcohol on Daniels' breath and when asked why he fled, he stated he hates cops and will always run from them.

One vehicle was totalled in the initial collision.

Daniels is being held on $5,000 bond awaiting trial.
