Man Receives Sentence for Possession of Child Pornography

A man was sentenced in district court today for three charges of possession of child pornography.

David Wallace was arrested in May after officers seized three hard drives containing over 90 images and 8 videos of child pornography that he had downloaded from a file sharing service.

Wallace was sentenced to 8-10 years in prison on each of the three counts- all of which will be suspended, along with five years of supervised probation and sex offender counseling.

In district court today Judge Wilking pointed out that while Wallace never physically touched a child he was, "Providing a market for the most deplorable crime committed against society's most innocent individuals."
