A single vehicle rollover crash eight miles west of Basin on highway 30, claimed the life of 44 year old Jason N. Darby of Otto, Wyoming just after midnight Sunday morning.

The pickup Mr. Darby was driving was traveling eastbound on WY 30 and came upon a slight left hand curve. The right side tires of the truck went off the pavement. Darby pulled the vehicle back onto the roadway, went across the center line and then over corrected the vehicle. The truck went into a clockwise broadside slide and then traveled off the roadway striking a guardrail when the truck tripped, went air born and then rolled one and one-half times coming to rest on its top. Mr. Darby, who was not belted in, was partially ejected during the crash and was fatally injured.

This crash marks the 123rd highway fatality in Wyoming for 2014.
