THOMPSON FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A 21-year-old Plains man authorities say killed his 3-month-old son by shaking him is being returned to Montana from Wyoming.

Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel says that Gunner Dye is accused of killing Shane Gabriel-Leon Dye.

Authorities say the infant died April 18 in a Missoula hospital due to injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome. The death is listed as a homicide.

During an interview by police in April, Dye denied shaking his son and causing any injuries.
