A man pulled from the North Platte River in Casper has died. The Natrona County coroner reports the man was pronounced dead at Wyoming Medical Center shortly after he was rushed to Wyoming Medical Center.

Officials say the man, whose name has not yet been released, jumped into the river from the “F” Street bridge in Casper Monday night around 11:30 p.m. Witnesses say he was conscious after jumping into the water, but appeared to try to dunk his head under the water. By the time Casper Fire and Police were able to pull him from the water, he had lost consciousness.
