25-year-old Phillip Pursche plead not guilty today in district court to a felony charge of driving under the influence.
According to police documents, on April 16th Pursche inhaled a can of Dust Off while driving and allegedly lost consciousness as his vehicle swerved across the westbound lane of Plaza Drive and collided with the Walmart sign on the northwest corner of the Wyoming Boulevard intersection.
Police found a Walmart receipt for the dust remover in Pursche’s pickup- showing that it had been purchased moments before the accident occurred.
If convicted, this will be Pursche’s fourth DUI offense and he could face up to 5 years in prison.
