CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Traffic is flowing again on all major interstates and highways in Wyoming although there are still slick and windy areas slowing speeds.

Long sections of I-80 and other highways in southern Wyoming were closed most of Wednesday because of blowing snow and strong winds.

On Thursday morning, most roads around the state were open but the Wyoming Department of Transportation said many roads, especially in the southeast part of the state, had slick spots and some blowing snow.

Slick spots were also found in western Wyoming in the Jackson area.

The agency advised against light trailers on I-80 between Laramie and Walcott Junction.
