A convicted sex offender is heading back to prison for re-offending while in Casper.

Lynn Charles Lee was sentenced to 18-28 years in prison, followed by an additional 10-15 year suspended prison sentence, with 15 years of probation, after he entered an Alford plea, to three amended charges of third degree sexual abuse of a minor (Originally charged with three counts of first degree sexual assault and three counts of second degree sexual abuse of a minor.)

Investigators with the Casper Police Department say in June 2013, the victim claimed that he had been raped and then was told that if he told anyone, he would find his mom dead.

Police learned that Lee had been on parole at the time, after serving 12 years in prison, because he had been convicted of third degree sexual assault back in 2000.

The victim also claimed that Lee ordered him to visit again for more sexual acts, under the threat of blackmail.

An Alford plea is not an admission of guilt, but it acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence and/or testimony, that they would be able to get a guilty verdict from a jury. had the case gone to trial.

Lee's actual sentence was 10-to-15 years in prison for the first charge, followed by an additional eight-to-13 years in prison for the second charge (which would start after the 10-15 years was completed), and then the suspended prison sentence and probation would start after the first two sentences are served.
