Nearly 400 retailers in Wyoming will start selling Powerball® and Mega Millions® tickets shortly after 12 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24.

Sheridan resident, Mary Ogg, will buy the first lottery ticket at noon during a celebration being held at the Holiday Station, located at 936 East Brundage Lane in Sheridan. The rest of the WyoLotto retailers in the state are scheduled to start selling tickets shortly afterwards. Ogg won the opportunity to buy the first lottery ticket in a WyoLotto™ giveaway and chose the retailer for that sale.

The first multi-state game drawing will be held two days after lottery ticket sales start in Wyoming. Weekly Mega Million drawings will be held on Aug. 26 and Aug. 29. Weekly Powerball drawings will be held on Aug. 27 and Aug. 30.
